2011 CCMS students Addison Callan, Nathan Ritchie, and Zachary Jones
Each year, the State Climate Office hosts students from Centennial Campus Middle School in an internship program extending from mid-fall through early spring of the following year. This program is designed to introduce the students to the scientific process, as well as to the different aspects of North Carolina's climate through data analysis and research. Students divide into 2-person "teams" and are required to propose a hypothesis with respect to a weather- or climate-related phenomenon of interest, retrieve and analyze climate information needed to research their hypothesis, and create a webpage to display their findings. Below is a list of projects completed by these students.
