The CRONOS API, or web service, enables developers and scientists to access CRONOS data without concerning themselves with database structure or query syntax. Data can be retrieved by calling a URL. This is especially well suited for Perl, PHP, Java and other scripting languages. All queries go through a URL string. Output is plain text and formatted to be easy to parse. Development is still underway. No warranties are made.
